Central Ohio Martial Arts Teams (COMAT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to support martial artists participate in martial art events, trainings, and competitions around the world.

If you currently practice at Central Ohio Martial Arts, just ask a current member for information. Alternatively, you can indicate your interest by filling out the following form and we will get back to you.
In 2025 COMAT provided financial support and technical knowledge so its members could attend various events, including the Grandmaster's World Gongkwon Yusul seminars in Germany, Tempered Minds seminars in Pittsburgh (PA) and the Southern Ohio Fall Games competition in Cincinnati (OH).
COMAT also assisted members to hold their own seminars such as the Haidong Gumdo Fall seminar in McKinney (TX). Additionaly, in order to drive development of Martial Arts in Central Ohio, COMAT has assisted several members in obtaining advanced belt ranks and certifications.

As you may imagine, sending multiple students around the US and to Korea can be very expensive. We rely on donations and fundraisers to meet our goals.
